I have known Brian for over twenty years and consider him and his family friends.
I am fully aware of all the allegations against him arising from his time as Co-Founder of The Smile Train and Founder of WonderWork. I was honored to serve as a volunteer member of the Boards of both charities. Throughout that time I never saw any evidence of the acts and behaviors alleged against him. In fact, quite to the contrary, Brian’s enthusiasm and selflessness in the pursuit of making a transformational difference to the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children around the world was quite inspiring. It saddens me deeply that his good work has been so severely harmed by what I believe to be little more than a personal vendetta.
Through all of my dealings with Brian, both personal and professional, he has always done what he said he would do and given freely of his own “time, talent and “treasure”.
Richard Price
Richard Price and his wife Kat were instrumental in launching Smile Train in China in 2001 and Richard later joined the Smile Train Board of Governors. Richard and Kat also helped Brian launch WonderWork in 2011 and Richard joined the WonderWork Board.
